Harrison Bay State Park is a state demonstration park, TVA built in the 1930s along the shores of Chickamauga Lake. The bay gets it names from the now partially submerged town of Harrison, Tennessee. The park was constructed at the same time as Booker T. Washington State Park with Harrison Bay State Park segregated for whites only.
